AFTER SCHOOL SPORT
The Australian Government's Active After-school Communities (AASC) program is a national initiative that provides primary school children with access to free sport and other structured physical activity programs in the after-school time slot.
The program aims to engage children in sport and other structured physical activities and through a positive and fun experience, develop a love of sport that inspires them to join a local sporting club
Our school participates in this valuable program to promote healthy fitness and lifestyles. Our school offers two different activities each term with teacher supervision. All students are provied with a healthy afternoon tea prior to their sport activity. Students wishing to participate are required to complete permission notes distributed each term. The program operates from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on two afternoons per week. Parents are required to arrange transport home from school.
